REGISTRATION We know that the last thing anyone wants is another user registration and another password to remember. Though you can freely search and browse memorypool.com without becoming a registered user, registration unlocks the ability to share your memories, to create your own memorybox and to create your own memorypools. We require registration wholly for the protection of our users, so that inappropriate postings can be identified and site abusers can be blocked. MEMORYPOOL.COM WILL NEVER SELL YOUR REGISTRATION INFORMATION OR USE YOUR CONTACT INFO FOR MARKETING PURPOSES. The registration process is simple and fast, and the rewards of forming or joining a community of remembrance is well worth the mere seconds it will take. Once registered, please take the time to update your profile with a photo of yourself. This image will appear beside memories you share. CREATING NEW MEMORYPOOLS Once registered and logged in, an administrative area will open that will permit you to create and manage memorypools. Again, memorypool.com has been designed to make this process fast and simple. It is best to have the name of the deceased, the years of birth and death, and a digital photo (used for the memorypool’s main page) readily available. Simply fill out the form, choose your privacy and notification preferences, and click “Save.” Keep in mind, that you will have the ability to edit this form later, so do not worry about making this perfect. Perhaps later you will come across a more fitting photo or you want to spend more time writing biographical language. By selecting “My memorypools” and the “edit” function later, you can evolve the memorypool you have created however you like. Once you have created a memorypool, it is important that you share it with others who may wish to pay tribute and join your community of remembrance. Email a link to the memorypool you have created to others, or simply post the link on Facebook using the Facebook button in the left column of the page.
