My first experience with Zinn...Like more, I first encountered Zinn during required college reading. People's history of the US blew my mind and all the cute whitewashing we all experienced in school prior. The labor movement, American Civil War and of course Christopher Columbus were completely exposed beyond a shadow of a doubt. A great and fearless man with a conscience that was only matched by his intellect. |
